Unfortunately, i have a habit of taking on just too much - my apologies. It was a very different thing arrange talks i gave myself, to trying to co-ordinate ‘like’ participants from all round the world. i have started but there are bits missing - and after the excellence of last week’s interview, that is not good enough. This will explain all.
LET'S KHULUMA #1 . . . starting off with one of the most encouraging and interesting interviews I have ever done. I hope you will join me on Friday to meet Chief Nthlanthla Ndiweni - a man of vision, a man of gentle humour, and a respected leader of the Matebele people.
The new series of video logs will start next Friday the 25th September - but I thought it would be more fascinating to talk to those who were 'there' - either through oral history passed down through generations, or from family books or papers.
I will be chatting to anyone who has information or fascination in a particular aspect of the history from King Mzilikazi crossing the Limpopo to form Matabeleland and on to the country as it changed to become Southern Rhodesia. Let me know what you know - and let’s share it!
